Over the last year or so, a vehicle initiative to celebrate women in transport has been organised for our friends at Move Freight LTD, one that we have been proud to support. This initiative came from Chris Knuth, the COO of Move Freight who felt it important to celebrate all women in transport and their contribution to the industry. With the help of our Build and Refurbishment team, we were able to deliver the first unit this week to Move’s Wiri branch. These stand-out pink, purple and blue trucks will be a nod to the women behind the wheel, behind the phone, in workshops, offices and yards across the country. The truck itself (No. 1 of 4) was delivered by Ange Penney from our Fleet and Operations team and will be handed over by our Driver Trainer Angelique Corroyer to the team at Move Freight in Tauranga.
